Nestlé are reported to be considering establishing a dairy plant in Ethiopia within the next few years, and are likely to set up a packaging unit for their dairy products first as a way of testing out operations in the country. Nestlé have also appointed the retired long distance runner Haile Gebreselassie as their brand ambassador in Ethiopia.
